Abstract
The interplay between two important non-covalent interactions has been studied by means of ab initio calculations. We have found interesting synergetic effects between the cation-Ï and the hydrogen bonding interactions in pyrrol and indol complexes, when they interact simultaneous with cations (via cation-Ï) and water (via H-bonding).
