Abstract
Information entropy and level-spacing distribution in single carrier two-dimensional quantum dots are analyzed as functions of the location of a repulsive impurity centre and the strength of its interaction with the carrier electron. Quantum adiabatic switching is used to monitor the transition to quantum chaos with two different choices of the unperturbed hamiltonian.
