Abstract
The Photodissociation dynamics of m-bromotoluene has been investigated using velocity map imaging technique (see figure). Different product channels are observed. One is the promptly direct dissociation via repulsive n â Ïâ transition. The second is fast predissociation processes via Ï â Ïâ transition. Multiphoton dissociative ionization process is also suggested.
