Abstract
Pressure dependencies of the shift ν(P) â ν(0) (a) and the scaled shift (b) for the Qy(â¡),Qx(â), and Soret (â) bands of Bchl a in diethyl ether. ν(0) and ν(P) are the bands positions at atmospheric pressure and at high pressure, respectively. In the panel (b) the Qy,Qx, and Soret dependencies were scaled as 1; 0.571; 0.377, respectively. The Qy line is the best fit to Eq. (7) with β=2 and K = â198.75 for its experimental data. The Qx and Soret lines are polynomial fits to the experimental data, and these lines are guides for the eye.
