Abstract
We explore the feasibility of a target excitation in a harmonically confined single carrier dot in two dimensions in the presence of a perpendicular magnetic field, when chirped laser fields are switched on. Genetic Algorithm (GA) is used to dynamically optimize the parameters of the chirped pulses, leading to a kind of localization in the targeted states.
