Abstract
The Cu2+ ions in Cosacpy exist in octahedral coordination with tetragonal distortion and the trend gâ¥>gâ¥>ge shows the presence of unpaired electron mostly in the dx2-y2 orbital. This show that Cu2+ ions are characteristic of tetragonally elongated octahedral site, whereas the VO2+ ions are in the order of gâ¥|Aâ¥|, which confirms that V4+ ions in Cosacpy exist as VO2+ ions in octahedral coordination with tetragonal distortion and the trend gâ¥
