Abstract
We have measured one- and two-photon photoemission for benzene adsorbed Cu(1Â 1Â 0) surface. An occupied state at â2.2Â eV and an unoccupied state at 0.5Â eV relative to the Fermi level were found to be formed by hybridization of Ï-electrons with metal electrons.
