Abstract
We have measured one- and two-photon photoemission for benzene adsorbed Cu(1 1 0) surface. An occupied state at −2.2 eV and an unoccupied state at 0.5 eV relative to the Fermi level were found to be formed by hybridization of π-electrons with metal electrons.
