Abstract
Ag loaded TiO2 nanotube layers show considerable photochromic activity in the visible range. They show also higher photochromic contrast and significant switching speed than Ag/TiO2 compact layers. Photochromic effects are stronger for amorphous structure than for the tubes of anatase crystal structure.
