Abstract
The linear and nonlinear optical properties of palladium nanoparticle reinforced fluorinated ethylene polymer matrix nanocomposites were investigated in this work. The low-intensity reflectivities were measured as a function of palladium content and optical limiting experiments yielded a 90% reduction in optical transmission for composites with low palladium content.
