Abstract
Experiments on the laser-induced alignments of NO in linearly polarized femtosecond laser field within the intensity order of 1014Â W/cm2 at 820Â nm by using velocity mapping technique. The angular and velocity distributions of fragment ions with different charge numbers are measured. Laser-induced alignments of NO are studied by using ion imaging. The angular and velocity distributions are measured under different laser intensity.
