Abstract
Ultraviolet photoemission spectroscopy (UPS), inverse photoemission spectroscopy (IPES), two-photon photoemission spectroscopy (2PPES), and electronic structure calculations of 4,4â²-bis(phenylethynyl)benzenethiol are compared. The result is a better understanding of the valence electronic structure for this system, of the spectroscopic methods involved, and of previous measurements.
