Abstract
The electric field-induced exciplex luminescence quenching and photoconduction characteristics are simultaneously measured in undoped and an organic complex (PtL2Cl)-doped blends made of an electron donor (starburst amine m-MTDATA) and an electron acceptor (bathophenathroline BPT). The results are rationalized by the dissociation of singlet and triplet exciplexes and their 1(m-MTDATA) molecular exciton precursors interacting with space charge. The good fits of experimental data are obtained with the presented theoretical modeling.
