Abstract
Unlike 'cousin' BrOnCl species, the BrOnF/BrOnFâ (n = 2, 3) species are prone to form FBrOn/FBrOn- chains of BrF/BrFâ and On/On- moieties, which favor over the Br-On-F chains or Br-centered FBrOn structures.
