Abstract
The third-order nonlinear susceptibility enhancement of shape-distributed core-shell metal/dielectric ellipsoids is computed taking into account their dipolar interaction. Both the thin dielectric shell and weak nonsphericity are shown to have pronounced effect on the optical nonlinearity.
