Abstract
Stimulated emission of NO in the far infrared region has been analyzed. The longest wavelength detected in the current study is â¼27 μm (â¼11 THz), which is corresponding to the 8sÏ â 7pÏ inter-Rydberg transition. The possibility of the black body induced transitions is briefly discussed.
