Abstract
New green phosphors of Eu2+-activated Ca10(Si2O7)3Cl2 were synthesized and investigated by photoluminescence excitation, diffuse reflectance and emission spectroscopies, concentration quenching process, temperature dependence of luminescence and lifetime. These results show that Ca10(Si2O7)3Cl2:Eu2+ is a promising green-emitting phosphor for near UV InGaN-based white LED.
