Abstract
Highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO) levels of guest molecules doped in a wide energy-gap host matrix layer markedly influence current density-voltage characteristics of multilayer organic light-emitting diodes. HOMO level alignment between a hole-transporting layer and guest molecules provides the highest hole injection efficiencies and current densities.
