Abstract
Transient hydrogen adsorption profile of Pd nanoparticles measured at RT and an equilibrium hydrogen pressure of 1.7 MPa. Maximum hydrogen storage capacity observed is 1.05 ± 0.01 wt%. Re-adsorption of hydrogen provided in the lower profile corresponds to the hydrogen storage in the room-temperature out-gassed samples measured under aforementioned conditions. Only negligible loss of the reversible hydrogen storage capacity is observed while re-adsorption. Inset provides the hydrogen storage in these samples for extended storage duration of 9 h.
