Abstract
TR-FTIR emission spectroscopy has been used to determine the elementary reaction products, channels, rate constants and vibrational energy disposal of CCl with O2. Combined with DFT calculations, the major reaction channel is elucidated to be a sequential dissociation of CCl + O2 â ClCO + O â Cl + CO + O.
