Abstract
For the price of increasing the dimensionality of the problem by one degree of freedom we show here for the first time that many different initial wavepackets (WPs) can be propagated simultaneously. The conditions for suppression of the interference between the different propagated WPs are studied here as well. The effect of the initial state preparation (superposition of ground and electronic excited state) on the high order harmonic generation spectra (HGS) is studied.
