Abstract
We report and analyze critical point effects in the xenon induced shift of the ionization energy of trimethylamine and N,N-dimethylaniline. The quasi-free electron energy (see figure) is accurately calculated within a local Wigner-Seitz model from low density up to the density of the triple point liquid.
