Abstract
Quantum chemistry calculations on a series of novel metal-N6 compounds at B3LYP/6-311+Gâ level demonstrate that the planar N64-ring in these metal-N6 molecules exhibits aromatic character and the incorporation of the metal atom remarkably increases their stability.
