Abstract
Atomistic microstructures have been used to develop coarse-grained models of amorphous and melted polyethylene. The position of the mesoscopic particles was determined using bond, angle and dihedral distribution functions. Results indicate that the coarse-grained models strongly depend on the state of the polyethylene.
