Abstract
Electron propagator calculations are made both in water clusters and liquid water at normal conditions to obtain the outermost occupied electron binding energy and the electron affinity of water. The results are in good agreement with experiment and recent theoretical estimates and indicate an electron affinity of â0.8Â eV.
