Abstract
A new stretched exponential model for the collective dynamic structure factor of simple fluids is proposed with a scheme for obtaining the stretched exponential parameter. The present model yields numerical results in very good agreement with simulation for Lennard Jones fluids in the high density regime, where the mode coupling theory and the existing models of collective dynamic structure factor fail completely.
