Abstract
Slow formations of polystyrene dimer radical cation through electron transfer quenching of polystyrene excimer as observed upon the addition of 10-100Â mM CCl4 by pulse radiolysis. The electron transfer quenching led to an increase of the free ion yield (â¼20%).
