Abstract
Excitation energy transfer (EET) in dendritic dansylated POPAM-eosin host-guest complexes has been studied. Two time constants, 1Â ps and 6Â ps turned out to be characteristic EET rates from dansyls to eosin(s) independent of dendrimer generation. Relaxation processes in eosin were clearly faster when complexed with dendrimer than in solution.
