Abstract
The adsorbed PNBAâ bands at the active junction's area (A) increase in intensity with bias-voltage and a new band attributable to the azo-group emerges at voltages greater than +2.2Â eV. In contrast, the non-active surface (B) shows no change. The results indicate that the anisotropic molecular surface can be fabricated.
