Abstract
Field emission properties of boron and nitrogen doped carbon nanotubes (CNTs), grown in situ on tungsten tips and flat silicon substrates have been studied. The doped CNTs yield a high current density of â¼4 A/cm2 for a total emission current of 1 μA.
