Abstract
The dynamics of diimide (N2H2) under excitation with fs-laser pulses is investigated using nonadiabatic quantum molecular dynamics (NA-QMD). The laser field is taken into account explicitly and all degrees of freedom are included. By varying the laser frequency cis-trans isomerization and different fragmentation channels are observed.
