Abstract
Collision induced dissociation of O2- with Ar is studied. The Oâ energy distribution for Oâ fragment is used to get an effective repulsive potential energy state of O2-. The deduced repulsive state appears close to the computed 2Î u of O2- and is attributed to be a better representation of it.
