Abstract
The 266Â nm photodissociation of CH3ONO has been studied using the single-photon LIF technique. A fraction of CH3O (X2E) from the photodissociation can possess enough internal energy to isomerize into CH2OH which then decays to OHÂ +Â CH2. The rotational state distributions, spin-orbit and Î-doublets states populations of OH radicals are determined.
