Abstract
The kinetics are reported for the gas-phase reactions of TiOX3Î with O2,H2,N2,CH4,C2H4, and C2H6 at 297Â K at total pressures up to 2.00Â Torr using argon bath gas. No reaction was observed with H2,N2,CH4, and C2H6. The rate constant of the reaction with O2 showed no remarkable total pressure dependence, while the rate constant with C2H4 showed total pressure dependence and suggests a reaction mechanism including an adduct formation.
