Abstract
Breaking of valency ordering in Bi3+O2âBi5+ network in BaBi0.53+Bi0.55+O3 by La3+ substitution (La3+O2âBi5+) hinders Bi3+-to-Bi5+ charge transfer and reduces photocatalytic activity.
