Abstract
In this Letter, the luminescent dynamics of poly[2-methoxy-5-(2â²-ethylhexyloxy)-1,4-phenylene vinylene] (MEH-PPV) excitons within the ordinary field-strength range based on solid-state cathodoluminescence (SSCL) structure was investigated. It can be inferred that the disassociation probability of MEH-PPV excitons increases with applied voltage, and it is in favour to blue emission. By analysing its current-voltages characteristics using Poole-Frenkel model, device currents in SSCL structure changed from ohmic type to trapped charge-limited type at 40Â V, as same time blue emission appeared.
