Abstract
The absolute differential cross section has been measured for excitation of the v = 0 vibrational level of the a1Îg excited state of molecular oxygen in a wide scattering angle range from 15° to 180°. Magnetic angle changer technique has been used to detected electrons scattered in the backward direction.
