Abstract
Hemoglobin could achieve direct electrochemistry when immobilized in polytetrafluoroethylene film, which was cast onto GC electrode. The redox properties of Hb in PTFE film were characterized by CV experiments. The bioactivity of Hb was retained, which was confirmed by UV-vis and utilization of catalyzing the reductions of NO and H2O2.
