Abstract
Ring opening metathesis (ROM) reaction of 3,3-dimethyl cyclopropene (DMCP) with molybdenum catalyst may produce either syn or anti ring opened product depending upon cyclopropene orientation (syn or anti) with respect to the NH group of the catalyst.
