Abstract
⺠We show that internal pressure is largely responsible for hydrophobic solvation. ⺠Work is required to make a hole in a large water droplet. ⺠This work had not been accounted for in the interpretation usually used by biochemists. ⺠When included, it negates the need for an entropy argument.
