Abstract
► CO and O2 could be more stable on Au/Pd than Au or Pd cluster of same size. ► CO oxidation barrier on Au2Pd is found to be lower than that on Au3 and Pd3. ► Au/Pd bimetallic clusters could have higher activity for CO oxidation.
