Abstract
The present work is concerned with the reaction of the hydroperoxyl radical with ozone which is key in the atmosphere. Emphasis is given to the theoretical work developed at the authors' Group, in perspective with developments from other laboratories. Although written in the form of a short review, the present manuscript contains also novel, yet exploratory, results in particular relating to the role of adding a chaperon water molecule to reactants.
