Abstract
► We investigate Al(1 0 0) with high-resolution angle-resolved photoelectron spectroscopy. ► Many features in the surface band structure are confirmed for the first time. ► Three surface states are identified and studied in details. ► Our study provides high-quality data that serve as reference for future investigations.
