Recent advances in the determination of atomic parameters for modeling K lines in cosmically abundant elements

▶ Extensive and systematic investigations of atomic properties of K-vacancy states in many ions have been performed. ▶ A large amount of new radiative and non radiative rates together with photoionization and photoabsorption cross sections have been obtained. ▶ Here we report on our overall progress concerning N, O, Ne, Mg, Al, Si, S, Ar, Ca, Fe and Ni ions.
