Abstract
ⶠSuppression of the imaginary part of the self energy at the gold -Mo(1 1 2) interface. ⶠEvidence for defects dominating the imaginary part of the self energy in overlayers. ⶠSubtle changes found in the band structure of gold overlayers in furrowed structures. ⶠDefects can mask direct evidence of electron-phoon coupling. ⶠIn-plane surface lattice vibrations may contribute to a low Debye temperature.
