Abstract
▶ The electronic structures of dental alloys and l-cysteine film were studied by PES. ▶ The density of states in the dental alloy originates from Au and Cu as constituents. ▶ The Cu-3d states contribute dominantly to the occupied states near the Fermi level. ▶ The electronic structure of L-cysteine thin film is different from the thick film. ▶ The bonding between Cu-3d and S-3sp states are formed at the interface.
