Abstract
▶ We investigated the nuclear motion in core-excited dichloroethylene isomers. ▶ Absorption spectra near the chlorine L2,3 edges are presented. ▶ Cl2p core orbital excitations are performed and evidence of ultra fast nuclear motion is demonstrated by means of resonant Auger spectroscopy. ▶ The possibility of an Auger Doppler-like effect is also investigated.
