Abstract
⺠This paper presents an electron energy analyzer design which can simultaneously capture a wide-range of energies, one that can vary by three orders of magnitude. ⺠The field distribution and ray paths are plot through numerical simulation methods. ⺠The analyzer design is based upon using a magnetic deflection field that varies inside an iron box geometry.
