Abstract
A series of LiLa9âx(SiO4)6O2:xCe3+ phosphors were prepared by a conventional high temperature solid state reaction method, and their spectroscopic characteristic were systematically investigated. Two types of Ce3+-emitting centers with emission at about 380 and 430Â nm can be found in the phosphors LiLa9(SiO4)6O2:Ce3+. The Stokes shift and crystal field depression of Ce(1) and Ce(2) are investigated. The decay characteristics of Ce(1) and Ce(2) are discussed.
