Abstract
In this study, the sulfosalicylic acid (SSA)-Tb and Yb compound were systematically assembled into the pores of SBA-15 by hydrothermal method. The luminescence properties of the prepared materials were studied through luminescence spectra. The influences of the content of Yb3+ and Tb3+ on luminescent properties have been studied, and the luminescence mechanisms were analyzed. By the emission spectrum intensity, the optimum proportion of Tb and Yb was confirmed. In prepared materials, the ordered mesoporous structures were retained, and the prepared materials showed the much stronger emission of Tb3+ at 543 nm. The luminescence intensity attained the maximum when Yb3+ molar content was 4%, and the Tb3+ molar content was 2%. The prepared materials have potential applications value in luminescent materials field.
