Abstract
Furthermore, the room temperature IR and Raman spectra of the title compound were recorded and analyzed. For optical investigations, thin films have been prepared by spin-coating method from the ethanol solution of the material. Optical absorption spectra shows characteristic absorptions of CuCl-based layered perovskite centered at 300 and 380Â nm, whereas the photoluminescence spectra shows a bleu intense emission around 420Â nm, associated to radiative recombination of confined excitons in the CuCl6 Quantum wells.
